Praise be to Allah, The Lord of the universe who has
given us the blessing, so we can live in this world well.
Peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad that has shown us
from the dark way to the right way that is Islam religion.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
If we have a look
at our society now, our heart will groan in concern. The youth that are hoped
to have great responsibility to the future of religion and nation, fall on the
wrong way of life. Many of them are trapped in a dark style of life. They don't
know the purpose of their life. Life is just for joy; consuming strong drink,
morphine, opium, narcotic, koplo pill, sabu-sabu, putauw .... yach .... DRUG
ABUSE has stuck in their mind. Even most of them not only consume the drug but
also circulate it. MasyaAllah. What can we get from the youth like this? Can we
rely our religion and nation on them? The answer is No and Never.
Ladies and Gentlemen, dear
bothers and sisters,
Surely, it's hard
for us, as youth, to live in this Millenium era. What must we do to face this
reality? Of course, besides we have to struggle for our better own life, we
also must think and try to overcome the problems in our society. We must hold
firmly the slogan AMAR MA'RUF NAHI MUNGKAR. We should be able to be ourselves
who are good for our own life and useful for the others. Moreover we must fill
up our life with positive deeds and positive thinking.
Ladies and Gentlemen, dear
brothers and sisters,
We may proud and smile....
In this Millenium era the activities of Moslem youth are very rapid and speedy.
It indicates that the resurgence of Islam that sank some ages ago will appear
again, either those who call themselves as the Youth of Mosque, Moslem
Organization or the others. Everywhere we always hear the reading of Al-Qur'an
verses and Sholawat Nabi. And the people are busy enlivening the great days of
Islam with many kinds of activities. All are in the purpose to propagate Islam
and all at once to fill and to defend the independence of Indonesia that
we love.
Ladies and Gentlemen, dear
brothers and sisters,
Finally let's
pray together, May we are, as Moslem, given power by Allah to carry out the
good deeds and to fight the evils in this world.
That's all what I
can deliver, and if there had been mistakes on it, I beg your pardon. And thank
you very much for your attention.
